DANIEL CARRERA

CEO

Daniel Carrera is a junior Business Administration major at the University of La Verne. He facilitates and oversees all aspects of the company. When he is not at school he is a Supervisor at a popular mailing service company. After his undergraduate program is complete, he plans to use his degree to move up in the company and own a business on the side. Daniel excels at team management, motivating others, organization. He has experience managing different types of teams and aims to assist each member in reaching their max potential within the group.

ROY REQUENA

Chief Financial Officer

Roy Requena fulfills the role of Chief Financial Officer for HelioCharge. He is currently a third year Business Administration major with a concentration in Finance. Roy has excelled in the areas of finance throughout his time at ULV and is prepared to apply his skills to this role. He wishes to pursue the private equity field upon completion of his degree. Roy monitors and track expenditures and guides the team to follow the most likely scenario as projected. Every week, he will report that week's financial, making certain that both income statements and balance sheets align with each other. With the help of Manjun Zhu, the financial reporting of HelioCharge will be as accurate as possible.

ANGELA STEEL

Chief Operating Officer

Angela Steel is a junior at the University of La Verne, majoring in Business Administration. Once she earns her Bachelor’s degree, she plans to pursue  professional Track & Field, leading to a future start of her own Youth Track & Field program. Academics and sports have been the two main focuses in this San Diego native’s life the past 8 years, and is the gateway to her growth and learning. Angela Steel is Chief Operating Officer for HelioCharge. Her duties consist of keeping track of inventory, supplying team members and events with product, managing shipments, providing weekly inventory reports, and aiding in business decisions with CEO, Daniel Carrera, and CFO, Roy Requena.

MYA-LIN LEWIS

Vice President of Marketing

Mya-Lin Lewis is a junior at the University of La Verne, double majoring in Photography and Marketing. After graduation, she plans to work as a creative director or marketing associate at a reputable company; then go to grad school for her MBA in Art & Luxury Management to become a luxury brand manager. As HelioCharge’s VP of Marketing, Mya-Lin identifies target markets, helps VP of Sales Christopher Reynosa with sales pitches, creates and manages media content for the team, coordinates events, and works closely with Sustainable Claremont for promotion. She also works closely with Director of Marketing, Qianhua Dong on the team.

CHRISTOPHER REYNOSA

Vice President of Sales

Chris Reynosa is a junior at The University of La Verne. He will graduate in the fall of 2020 with his bachelor’s degree in business administration and an emphasis in finance. He has a history of face to face sales experience, creating sales reports, and interpreting reports through his current job at a supplement shop. Chris works with Jordan Karkas to set group and personal goals, as well as Mya-Lin Lewis to identify target markets and create a cohesive sales pitch. He collaborates with Roy Requena on sales projections and reporting.

MANJUN ZHU

Finance Director

Manjun Zhu is the finance director at HelioCharge, where she organizes and prioritizes pertinent financial information, including the income statements, statements of cash flows, and the balance sheet to be sure the business is on the right track to reach its goals. She works closely with CFO, Roy Requena, and VP of Sales, Jordan, to be sure that the financials are in accordance with the sales plans. You can expect 100% transparency and effort when working with Manjun Zhu at all times. Manjun Zhu is a junior at the University of La Verne with a focus in business administration.

QIANHUA DONG

Director of Marketing

Qianhua Dong is a sophomore at the University of La Verne. Her major is business administration. After graduation, she plans to look for a job in marketing. As the Director of Marketing at HelioCharge, her main job is to identify the company's target and develop marketing strategies and tactics with her partner, Vice President of Marketing Mya-Lin Lewis. She is also responsible for product selection and price negotiation. Qianhua Dong accepted the role as she wanted more experience, which would help her future career.

JORDAN KARKAS

Director of Sales

Jordan Karkas is a Junior at the University of La Verne. His graduation date is set for the fall semester of 2020 where he will acquire his Bachelor in Business Administration. Jordan has had prior sales experience working at a martial arts studio for 6 years conversing with customers and keeping them informed on current products and advising them on their purchases. Jordan will be working under Chris Reynosa and assisting him in sales predictions, and event coordination.
